SOLAROTECH is committed to protecting the privacy of the users of our photovoltaic engineering toolkit application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

• Geolocation Data (GPS): The application requests access to your device's geolocation to calculate the solar position, optimum tilt angles, and solar irradiance transposition based on coordinates (Latitude and Longitude). This data is processed locally on your device to execute engineering calculations and save project coordinates locally.
• Device Sensors: The app utilizes device sensors (such as the compass/magnetometer and accelerometer) to power the digital alignment compass and clinometer. Sensor data is processed locally in real-time and is never transmitted to any external server.
• Project Data and Notes: Project details, customer names, technical dimensions, and engineering audit notes are saved entirely on your device using Local Storage. We do not store, access, or upload this data to any remote server.
• Third-Party Advertising (Google AdMob): The app integrates Google AdMob to display advertisements. Google may collect and use advertising identifiers (like Google Advertising ID) and device information to deliver personalized ads and analyze ad performance.

2. Data Security & Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share any of your personal or technical data with third parties. All inputted calculations and project data remain stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its cache will permanently delete this local data.

3. User Controls & Rights

You can grant or revoke location or sensor permissions at any time through your device settings. Revoking permission may limit the functionality of certain live instruments (like the Compass and GPS coordinator).

4. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
